Spotting cancer early saves lives

Mental Health Awareness Week Newham Event

14th – 20th May is Mental Health Awareness Week, and to mark the occasion there are some free events being held in Newham organised in partnership with the ASK User-Led Mental Health Group. There will be two events, one on Monday 14th May 10-2pm at Custom House and Canning Town Community Neighbourhood Centre and Library, and one on Wednesday 16th May 10-2pm at Plaistow Library.
 
Activities will include:
• chair based exercises
• performances from a local choir
• testimonies and poetry
performances from service users
• holistic therapies for the mind,
body and soul
• quadrille dancing.
